Good and bad day in terms of cricket

The cricket day just begun by 1.30pm, when arch rivals but thick friends off the field, Australia and South Africa had started the ODI.
Nothing much to say than explaining why I'm feeling good and bad.
Always the bad side first, so the bad news is, my favourites, Aussies lost the game even after they posted a huge 327 on board.

The good news is....

Centuries from Finch, Raina, ABD and Faf!!!
Of course the last photo isn't from the live match! :)

Nallur Chariot festival (ther thiruvizha)

A day which was started as early as 4am and finished off soon as 12.10 afternoon. A day when tears came off from my eyes in utter divine! There is God! Muruhan's blessings made the devotees go high on emotions and felt the heaven on earth!

An evening with God Muruhan and friends

It was a beautiful evening in Nallur with friends, gossips, long talks, lots of laughs, beautiful thamizh people with their traditional dresses, and.... Some bakthi indeed in a corner. It was the "sapparam" festival at Nallur today.

There I met some friends who all I've met after advanced levels. We were talking endlessly while God Muruhan marched around Nallur temple in his sapparam chariot. Topics were as old as how we talked while studying A levels. Which reminded us that we never change, an alarm in both good and bad way!

We clicked some snaps together.

The streets of Nallur were fully crowded, especially when the sapparam was moving in the street, there was huge deadlocks in the crowd, everywhere "ohm muruga" and "aroharaa" chants!
That moment when Muruhan started his journey, that was the moment that 100 thousands of people waited for to see before they die. It was Devine and emotion!

Finally, the cute humour part :) my friend dushi showed his eagerness to have a baby! :D

Kaaviyath Thalaivan, a quick review

Being a Rahmaniac for long time, but never wrote a review for his albums so far. The album "Kaaviyath thalaivan" made me to write a review on it's music.
The album got 7 songs. First of all, I would say this album is the less satisfied one in near times, in terms of listening to it for the first time. Not to forget, the music has been composed to give justice for the period of time the movie's plot had happened. It was on late 1920s, therefore the music is totally mingled with 1930 style instruments and vocals. And the movie itself is about a drama group which was known as "madhurai Sri balashanmuga naadaga sabha".

As in recent times, as all the songs Sujatha Mohan and ARR duo worked with was a hit, this album also has one song "yaarumillaa thaniarangil" which makes goosebumps even when you play it in repeat mode! This girl got a pure magical voice as her mother's, and the magician gives equal support to this beautiful melody.

The second most favourite song in the list for me is "aye Mr. Minor enna paakira". A lovely double voice of Shashaa tirupati, and haricharan, one of the best of young singers from our time, have absolutely nailed it! This songs reminds the song from iruvar too, "hello mister ethirkatchi".

The third one I liked is "vaanga makka vaanga". It was the song released first before the audio release. From the day it released, it was repeated in my iTunes, that much nice song it is. Perfect introduction for the drama group of late thirties.

The other one I admired is "sollividu sollividu" by mukesh. This song is about the Geetha ubadhesham. Arjuna asking at load Krishna to stop the war, in other words known as "karna motcham". The finishing stanzas are beautifully penned and equally composed by Rahman, genious he is!

There are 3 more songs, "sandi kuthirai", "alli Arjuna", a mix of whole bit songs, and "eninai neenini" from thiruppuhazh, sung by vaani jayaram. These are not so impressive, but would be giving justice to them once we listen to it with the film.

Now it's time for me to make my iTunes play them in repeat mode, take care guys!

Feeling lost

Last couple of weeks I'm living a life which I never lived before, probably the worse period of my life. I keep forgetting things these days. First, previous week, left my wallet on the table at the food court where I used to have lunch with my friends. After about 10 minutes since I left from the food court only realised about it. Then got a brief lecture (like the coudray lecture from Sanga, lol) from the manager of food court and got the wallet, yeah it was found and handed over to him by a cleaning woman there. Thousand thanks for you lady, whose name I don't know.
Then the next day, left my phone at office and came. Once I reached home only there flare lit on my brain, that I left there. Again, thanks to one of my colleague, who was working hard (really...) for a release that night at office. Luckily my ability of remembering numbers helped me to call his number, and he had handed over the phone next day.
Today, while coming in the shuttle from work, while getting down from the shuttle, I guess, yes I guess, I'm not sure but I believe I left my headset and USB cable in the shuttle. If the almighty and the driver can help me, would get it tomorrow, but I wonder I lost it after I got down from the shuttle.
So this night is going to be a sleepless night... A night without ARR music in my ears, a night with no internet access (phone charge will go off), and a night to remember about my forgetting!

Have a good night my dear demon inside me, who makes me forget things... I hate you(me)!!!
