Malayalam Movies!

About last 3 or 4 months or so, I got number of malayalam movies to watch, than tamil/english movies.
If I tell the truth, it is the reality drama, which is so encouraging to see, than watching unrealistic movies in other languages.

The best thing I like about the malayalam movies are, the locations! They are so lovely and suits to the plot and circumstance of the story narrated!
For instance, take the orphanage showed in the movie Charlie, that area is nicely captured with green fields, cool weather, and with good camera angles when zooming the people in there.

Another movie, Kali, Shows the night life exemplarily, the restaurant and its surroundings are captured under required light conditions.

In Charlie again, the Goa festival was recorded astonishingly! The audience would have felt that they were in there physically! I guess this is the first movie which showed the festival in its best.

The other good thing about Kerala cinema is, the plot is not only romance! I think its safe to say, tamil cinema is fully into love concept. But malayalam movies talk much about some other concepts. For example, Kali is about a guy who is going through stress affected mentality. Oru vadakkan selfie is about social media's problems a normal girl could face. Its healthy cinema I feel, than being into a single concept and praise the hero!
The movie Action hero Bijju made me to conclude, that all the police officers I have seen in tamil cinema are unreal! Check this movie and you would agree with me. This guy Nivin acted as a normal police guy who we meet usually at police station, who don't roar like a lion, who can't even catch 2 guys at the same time, can't fight with 20 rowdies, but the perfect police guy.

These are the movies I have watched recently, and this makes me watch more and more kerala cinema:

1. Charlie
2. 100 Days of Love
3. Kali
4. King Liar
5. Oru Vadakkan Selfie
6. Action Hero Bijju
