Rivalry War begins on 10th July....

As being in office without doing much work as we are at the last phase of the project, I find hell of free time. which made me thought of writing something from office :). I was in search of a topic for not more than half an hour(! you are idling boss! :P) which brought me the "ASHES".

those who know me properly would have thought of it because I'm a person with the first choice as cricket, beyond all other things! So, no wonder I took this topic as this period of year is about Ashes.

As how usually ashes will be, this year also it is as "one favorable team fighting with one underdogs". But as an Aussie fan, the bitter truth for me is, the favorable team is England!

Captain Cook's (oh ooh, not that cook :) ) army is very much stronger in all positions of their parade. If they do a whitewash, that would not be an astonishment, as the match venue is England, and they gonna play in full cricket conditions (hopefully a better pitch than of the CT's) and infront of the home supporters. They invented a 22 year old kid, Joe root to open the attack with Cook, which would be a fine show with clean sweeps and well driven cover-point boundaries.  the line up is followed up with Ian bell, Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pieterson, Jonny Bairstow and the wicket keeper Matt prior. they all are in good form, only pieterson didn't play since 2013 march after the injury.

Their bowling department is arguably the strongest in the world now. They have the mighty Anderson as the wing lead of bowling attack, who has the subordinates Stuart Broad and Steve finn with Onions in the team. they are all speed and pace attackers who can hit the ball hard in the turf. with this, when the spin wizard swann joins, it all looks a champion's troop. they really are.

Therefore, the Ashes is 75% in the hand of Englishmen with the rooky fortress they have in the team.
Now we'll see the Kangaroos. They are really a minor side now in cricket. they were the champions of last 2 decades in cricket history, and now they are in the period of re-forming.
Pup guy (Clarke) has to show up his capability at it's peak, only then they can think of achieving something in England. he is the only player with most hundreds in the team now and he is in good shape despite his back pain. the other one to look for is the golden arm Watto (Shane Watson). having played 41 test matches, and so far he only hit 2 centuries, which shows his inability in the past to stay in the crease. If he stay and rotate the strike with the new "old" chap Chris rogers, who opens up the innings with him, then Aussies can do some merry. followed up by the openers, Phil Hughes and Ed Cowan has to find the rhythm still, then Michael has to come up and build the innings with either steve smith or with all rounder Faulkner. So the whole thing about the first four guys firing centuries. if 2 of them do that in the first 2 days, then rest can be capitalized by the inform captain and his quick fire mates :) . their bowling lineup is very much weak when compared to that of England's. Siddle, Starc and Bird Doing their job good, but they have to swing the bowl as how good the opponents are in it. Lyon would be handy than Doherty in English conditions.

A man on man comparison should be made as how they mark in football (hu hu hu :D )

Alister Cook        -   Michael Clarke
Ian Bell                -   Chris Rogers
Kevin Pieterson   -   Shane Watson
Joe Root               -   Steve Smith
Jonathan Trott      -   Ed Cowan
Jonny Bairstow    -   Phil Highes
Matt Prior            -   Brad Haddin
Jimmy Anderson -   Mitchel Starc
Stuart Broad        -   Peter Siddle
Grame Swann      -   Nathan Lyon
Steve Finn           -   Jackson Bird

In any comparison, England are way ahead of aussies. let's wait for 2 more days and read more from here.!!!
